John Arant and his wife Marilyn have lived at 6125 Polo Drive for 25 years. He is retired after 32 yrs at The Dow Chemical Co. Marilyn is a retired mortgage broker from Sunshine Mortgage. Most of John's work experience was representing Dow's building materials business to trade organizations and government agencies in Washington, D.C., and in sales and marketing of Dow constructions products. Being retired, John felt it was now his duty to offer himself for service and served on the board of the Polo HOA as Vice- President. John and Marilyn own and manage several rental houses in Cumming, do volunteer work for First Redeemer Church, are members of the Polo Golf and Country Club, do their own yard work, read, travel and belong to several Civic organizations. He is very active in The American Legion, the world's largest veterans organization and is a poll worker for the Forsyth elections office. John will also share about his recent experience with prostate cancer.

Ron worked as an Insurance Operations Director for Aetna, The St. Paul, and The Travelers Insurance Companies. He was responsible for policy issuance, billing, office technology and office administration in the South. He is also a former IBM insurance software IT business consultant for policy administration systems, billing systems and overall productivity improvement issues. Ron attended Brigham Young University and is a graduate of The University of Connecticut with a B.S. degree in Industrial Administration from the School of Business. His professional certifications include CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), CDIA (Certified
Document Imaging Architech) & AAM (Associate in Automation Management). Ron was drafted out of high school by the Atlanta Braves as a catcher and played collegiate baseball at Brigham Young University and The University of Connecticut. He is currently associated with Carta Bella Gift and Stationery, a family-owned gift and stationery store at The Collection in Cumming owned and operated by his wife and daughter. Ron and his wife, Linda, have lived in the Atlanta area since 1994 and in Cumming since 2006 and have two children and 3 grandchildren who also live in Cumming. |

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he served as pastor of five churches in the Atlanta area with three of the churches being recognized nationally for their rapid growth. For over twenty years he has been active in national religious broadcasting through radio and television. His formal education includes B.A., Psychology, Mercer University; Master of Divinity, Luther Rice Seminary; Doctor of Ministry, Luther Rice Seminary; Doctor of Literature, Toccoa Falls College; Doctor of Laws, Liberty University; postdoctoral C.E. studies in Theology, University of Oxford, Oxford, England; Ph.D., GTF Foundation House/Oxford. Dr. Lee has published 20 books by major publishing houses including The American Patriot’s Bible, In God We Still Trust, The Coming Revolution, The Unfailing Promise, and Miracles Still Happen among others; and as contributing author, The Believer’s Study Bible. Dr. Lee has been interviewed by Fox News, CBS News, The BBC, CNN, USA Today, The Washington Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Atlanta Journal and Constitution, Essence magazine, The London Times, and Newsweek. He and his wife, Judy, have recently moved to the Polo Golf and Country Club subdivision.

Chad has been a Realtor since 2003 having also been with Century 21 and Prudential Georgia. He ventured into the real estate market as an investor, purchasing land and commercial real estate in southeast Louisiana after he purchased 20% of Cartwight and Bean in 1986 which he sold in 1994. After this, Chad started his own company, Cartwright Automation, that supplied automation equipment to the oil, gas and HVAC industry which he sold in 1999, finally moving back to Atlanta and the Polo Fields in 2002. Chad was born and raised in Georgia, graduated from Pace Academy, briefly attended UGA and transfered to North Georgia College (now University of North Georgia), where he obtained his degree in Chemistry and Mathematics. He was commissioned in the US Army as a 2nd Lieutenant, married, moved all over the Southeast, and finally, after 30 years, returned to his roots in North Georgia as a Realtor with Prudential Georgia Realty (now Berkshire Hathaway Home Services). Chad was also Chemist with Dekalb County Water and Sewer, Chemist with American Enka, and Salesman / Vice President with Cartwright and Bean from 1975 to 1994. He is a member of the Georgia Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), a licensed pilot, a fly fisherman and a camper.Chad will also address some specifics like Polo home values and Forsyth County growth and development, and the challenges we are facing as a community. He will also offer some thoughts on selling or purchasing a home and what to look for when hiring a Realtor.
