Jim Lockwood, |
Owner, Lockwood Pressure Washing |
Jim was born in Cumberland, Maryland, and spent most of his life in the southeast, growing up in Smyrna, then moving to Savannah for a few years and then to Nashville. Jim attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville but did not graduate from there. Most of his adult life he was in the restaurant industry waiting tables and bartending. He started at Slopes Barbecue approximately ten years ago as Manager. In April of 2023 Jim started his pressure business part time on his day off in his neighborhood just to make a few extra dollars, and as he started to pick up more business decided to learn more about the techniques and equipment involved. Then in the fall of 2023, he decided he would pursue the business full time in the spring of 2024, and the third week of February of 2024 was his last week at Slopes, and he went full time with pressure washing. Over time Jim has continued to learn more about the business, marketing techniques and how to manage schedules and budgets and focuses on slow, smart growth. Jim married for the first time in 2021 and enjoys activities of cooking, spending time with family and trying to find a social life after working nights and weekends for so many years!
